Bestmaze

Previously located in Williamston, and now moving to Lansing, Michigan, for its 23rd edition, Bestmaze is one of the most well-known and popular corn mazes in America, and certainly one the best corn mazes in Michigan! The Bestmaze is famous for its themes, with intricate decorations and motifs that change each year. This seasonal corn maze is open from mid-September to late October.
This is a wildly popular corn maze and one of our personal favorites because of its intricate design and theming, which changes every year. Some of their past maze themes include: vikings, “see the world – cruise the corn,” and “under the sea.” Although a couple of other mazes on this list switch up their theme often, none has decorations as intricate as the ones seen at Bestmaze each year, which is why it’s one of the best corn mazes in Michigan!

Gull Meadow Farms
Richland, MI
Gull Meadow Farms offers a six acre corn maze, as well as a variety of other fall activities such as apple picking, pumpkin picking, and a hayride.
The maze is one of the best corn mazes in Michigan because not only does it change themes every year, but there are also several activities within the maze itself. For instance, in 2022, the “be kind” maze boasted inspirational quotes on kindness and fun facts about bees.
If your little one isn’t so sure about the big six acre maze, they can explore the mini-maze instead. With minimal twists and turns, this is a great option for the little ones to “get lost” with their parents.
Although this is one of the smaller mazes on our list, Gull Meadow Farms is still considered one of the best corn mazes in Michigan because of its countless other activities. Our favorites, which aren’t available at any of the other farms on this list, are the zipline, tractor pull, and chicken show.
A special detail about this farm is that every year it also hosts several Christmas events. Although the corn maze is long gone by December, the Gull Meadow Farms’ “Walk Through the Lights” (a huge, winding path of Christmas trees) is a great option for families in the winter.
Things to Remember Before Doing a Corn Maze
Choosing the best corn maze in Michigan can be a fun and exciting endeavor, but it is also important to keep certain things in mind to ensure you have the best experience possible.
Make sure to check the size of the corn maze. If you are looking for a longer challenge, you may want to look for a larger maze. On the other hand, if you are with young children or want a less taxing physical experience, a smaller maze may be a better option. The best corn maze in Michigan for you isn’t necessarily the largest one!
