Next, make sure to check out Summerfield Park, located in the beautiful city of Greenwood! Summerfield Park is sixteen acres long which means there’s an awful lot of space available for open play! If you love paintball, then you want to visit Indy Paintball Battleground in Greenwood. This battleground says walk-ins are welcome, so there is no need to make reservations! However, there is an age requirement at Indy Paintball – you have to be 10+ years old to play, so plan accordingly! Greenwood Community Center has just finished extensive renovations on their community center and is now better than ever! In addition, the new community center’s climbing structure provides healthy challenges and sparks of creativity within.
12. Freedom Springs Aquatic Park
If you haven’t journeyed over to Freedom Springs Aquatic Park yet, then it’s safe to say you’re missing out! Freedom Springs is one of the best seasonal water parks around. You can plan to spend the day in the sun at Freedom Springs and enjoy tube slides, a lazy river, lap pools, and splash area. The aquatic park has cabanas available for rent, giving you a break from the hot sun. In addition, the park has a functioning island stage that hosts live performances throughout the year.
13. Otte Golf and Family Fun Center
Lastly, come out and visit the Otte Golf and Family Fun Center! Otte Golf and Family Fun Center is the perfect place for a kids’ day out and provides an 18-hole golf course, mini-golf course, driving range, batting cages, and a snack bar. In addition, this family fun center is extremely budget-friendly and offers unlimited miniature golf for children ages 4 to 12 for only $6.
