The Xeriscape Garden is a community project with a focus on water conservation.

This space is often used for educational programs and demonstrations in the community and is very mindfully designed. You’ll notice signage around the garden explaining how everything works and identifying all the flora around you.

2. Veterans Oasis Park and Chandler Nature Center

The Veterans Oasis Park and Chandler Nature Center is another amazing outdoor space with lots of educational opportunities.

Opening in 2008 for mixed-use, the Veterans Oasis Park and Chandler Nature Center house classrooms for educational programs on wildlife preservation, exhibits, an outdoor amphitheater, and Solar System walk.

Stroll along on four miles of trails and admire the fishing lake. Exhibits and trails are free and open to the public.

The Park and Nature Center are located at 4050 East Chandler Heights Road.

6. Arizona Railway Museum

10. The Eddie Basha Collection of Western American & American Indian Art

If you’re looking for things to do in Chandler and you love Western and American Indian art, you’ll love The Eddie Basha Collection of Western American and American Indian Art.

Open since 1992 with over 3,000 pieces to see, The Eddie Basha Collection houses oil and watercolor paintings, bowls, baskets, pottery, kachinas, and jewelry. Visitors always marvel at how much color there is to see.

Admission is free and it’s usually open Monday through Friday, but call ahead to make sure they’re open before you go.

11. Big Air Trampoline Park

Big Air Trampoline Park has to be one of the most fun activities in Chandler!

The 30,000 square foot facility features ninja courses, trampoline laser mazes, dodgeball courts, a zip line, foam pits, and so much more. There are exciting challenges for kids of all ages to try out.

They even have a specially designated area for kids 6 and under, a Parents’ Lounge, and food available.

12. Chuparosa Park Spray Pad
