This space is often used for educational programs and demonstrations in the community and is very mindfully designed. You’ll notice signage around the garden explaining how everything works and identifying all the flora around you.
The Xeriscape Garden is great for kids and pets and even has specially designated areas for both so they can join you on your activities in Chandler.

2. Veterans Oasis Park and Chandler Nature Center
The Veterans Oasis Park and Chandler Nature Center is another amazing outdoor space with lots of educational opportunities.
Opening in 2008 for mixed-use, the Veterans Oasis Park and Chandler Nature Center house classrooms for educational programs on wildlife preservation, exhibits, an outdoor amphitheater, and Solar System walk.
Stroll along on four miles of trails and admire the fishing lake. Exhibits and trails are free and open to the public.

A classic attraction in Chandler is the Chandler Fashion Center Mall.

6. Arizona Railway Museum

See restored train cars from different areas as well as a recreation of the original Chandler depot. They also have displays for china and glass, as well as movie set rail cars.
The Arizona Railway Museum is open on weekends from Labor Day to Memorial Day at 330 E Ryan Road.

8. The Gallery at CCA
For more art appreciation, don’t miss The Gallery at the Chandler Center for the Arts in Downtown Chandler.
The museum brings in rotating exhibitions throughout the year from regional and national artists who create all different types of artwork, from oil paintings to sculptures and much more.

9. Vision Gallery
The Vision Gallery is a beautiful open space with lots of natural light to illuminate the artwork within.
Curators are constantly bringing in new works from local and regional artists in all forms of media, so you can visit again and again to see what they have going on.
Like The Gallery at CCA, Vision Gallery is also a nonprofit with support from the Chandler Cultural Foundation, and proceeds help fund free art classes in the community.
Vision Gallery is located at 10 East Chicago Street.
10. The Eddie Basha Collection of Western American & American Indian Art
If you’re looking for things to do in Chandler and you love Western and American Indian art, you’ll love The Eddie Basha Collection of Western American and American Indian Art.
Open since 1992 with over 3,000 pieces to see, The Eddie Basha Collection houses oil and watercolor paintings, bowls, baskets, pottery, kachinas, and jewelry. Visitors always marvel at how much color there is to see.
Admission is free and it’s usually open Monday through Friday, but call ahead to make sure they’re open before you go.

11. Big Air Trampoline Park
Big Air Trampoline Park has to be one of the most fun activities in Chandler!
The 30,000 square foot facility features ninja courses, trampoline laser mazes, dodgeball courts, a zip line, foam pits, and so much more. There are exciting challenges for kids of all ages to try out.
They even have a specially designated area for kids 6 and under, a Parents’ Lounge, and food available.

12. Chuparosa Park Spray Pad

The Chuparosa Park Spray Pad has several spray and splash pads for kids to play in. It’s a perfect spot for the little ones!
The Chuparosa Park Spray Pad is open April through October at 2400 South Dobson Road.
13. Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center
For activities in Chandler with even more summer fun for the kids, check out Mesquite Groves Aquatic Center.
You’ll find tons of water features including a pool, diving boards, water slides, a lazy river, toddler-safe options, heated water, and so much more. You can also enjoy free swim openings throughout the week year-round.
A training classroom and family dressing room are available on-site, and admission is very affordable.

This is one of the attractions in Chandler you just can’t skip!
The Crayola Experience has tons of hands-on activities for kids and families. Get to work on creative projects like making and naming your own Crayola crayon, melted wax art, and more.

15. Gila River Casino
