Consumer Issues
We've already discussed how important it is to become an educated consumer; you get better quality goods and services for less money. After a while, you'll know how and where to shop to suit your needs. Subscribe to consumer publications like Money magazine and Consumer Reports, and read your newspapers carefully for items of consumer interest. Unless the United States is involved in a war or international crisis, or a presidential election or political scandal is taking place, consumer issues are always prominent in the news. Pay attention to them.
