The Midwest
The states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan and Wisconsin form the Midwest, in its most limited interpretation. These states are heavily industrialized along their Great Lakes coasts, but the remaining areas are largely agricultural. The region is primarily flat and makes up the eastern portion of America's agricultural heartland.
